Fire Rated Doors

A fire rated door is a door with a fire-resistance rating used as part of a passive fire protection system.

To stop the spread of fire

To enable safe egress from a building structure

Fire doors must meet the following standards:

BS 476
NFPA 252 (ASTM E2226 for Hose test)

Our Fire Rated Doors are specially designed to meet international standards of fire-rated doors. Door shutter is made by cold roll Galvanized steel sheet with a core material. Thickness of leaf will be 40-45mm and the door is provided with door lock, door closure and hinges.

Requirements of Fire Rated Doors

Fire doors must have ratings and these are granted by testing agencies and are labelled on the products.
The doors must meet the requirements of the International Standards BS 476. Part 20 & 22.
Fire doors are required to be self-closing and positive latching.
